1980 to 1983 – production of models for museums and exhibitions.
Thorpe Park – shipwrecked galleon (1982)
Team based production of this life size model made out of fibreglass panels over wooden
structures. Individual sections produced and painted at Adrian Marchant Ltd’s studios
and assembled on location at Thorpe Park amusement park in Surrey.
BBC Newsnight - studio set (1982)
Fibreglass panels spray painted to produce graduated effect. Produced and painted at Adrian
Marchant Ltd’s studios and assembled on location at BBC television studios in London.
Armoury
Fibreglass models sprayed gloss black and then dry brushed with aluminium powder at Adrian
Marchant Ltd’s studios.
Displays (motor show exhibitions and window displays)
Service Photography & Display (Ford Motor Company and Thames Television) 1982 to 1984 –
team based graphics and preparation of exhibition panels for Ford Motor Company’s motor
show stand at the NEC (in 1982). Team based design and assembly of Thames Television
window displays (in 1983).
British International Motor Show (NEC) – Ford Motor Company’s stand (1982)
Team based production of display panels. Produced at Service Photography and Display’s
studios in London and assembled on location at the National Exhibition Centre.
Thames Television – Christmas TV promotional widow displays (1983)
Team based production of photographic panels and other objects made out of wood, card
and polystyrene. Produced at Service Photography and Display’s studios and
assembled on location at Thames Television’s Euston Road studios in London.
